VIDEO KOOP 3. May – 27 July 2008

VIDEO KOOP is an exhibition project in the KIT which came into being through an invitation to Julia Stoschek. Julia Stoschek, the initiator of the JUST scholarship and founder of the JULIA STOSCHEK COLLECTION, presents six artists in the VIDEO KOOP context, most of whom come from Düsseldorf and work chiefly with film, video, and installations. Christiane Fochtmann, Andreas Bunte, Manuel Graf, Andreas Korte, Bianca Voss and Jan Wagner develop artistic positions that address the history of art and culture, everyday events and poetry in the media of film and music. The presentation of their works is in interesting contrast to the architecture of the KIT.
